Dental Hygienist wins Empire Challenge Initiative |

Raelee Simcox took the top prize in a New York State contest to encourage dental hygienists to help their patients quit tobacco products. Raelee, who is a hygienist at The Children’s Clinic’s Ogdensburg Dental Clinic won the year-long incentive by counseling and referring the most patients to the New York State Quit Line.

Welcome to our new Pediatricians |

The Children's Clinic is delighted to welcome 2 outstanding new pediatricians to our practice. Dr. Chikku Paul, MD joined us in mid-August. He received his early medical education at Kerala University in India. He completed his Pediatric residency in June 2007 at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Brooklyn, NY. He is Board eligible and will be taking his AAP Certification exam. He received his license to practice medicine in NYS on 6/29/07. Dr. Harold Phillips, MD joined us in September. Dr. Phillips is Board Certified in Pediatrics and has 22years of experience in private practice. He completed his undergraduate work at Syracuse University and obtained his medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University. Dr. Phillips did his Clinical Residency in Pediatrics at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon.
Both physicians are on staff at Samaritam Medical Center. The join Dr. Jana Shaw, Medical Director and Nancy Coughlin, nurse practitioner in providing excellent care to our patients.

We welcome a new dentist at our Watertown location. Dr. Anna Gremakovskaya, DDS (Dr. G.) is a graduate of the University of Buffalo School of Dentistry. She completed her General Practice Residency at St. Joseph Hospital in Syracuse and has just received he NYS license. Born in Kazakhstan, Anna immigrated to the US at the age of 12 and she is a US citizen. Dr. G. has begun working in the Children’s Clinic’s Watertown site and will also work at the Wiley School-based site in September. And Congratulations to Dr. Robert Kang, who was recently accepted to receive Federal Loan forgiveness through the Health Service Corps.
