Being prepared will make your first WIC visit an easy experience.
1) Be on time for your appointment. Plan on your first visit taking about an hour and a half. Often it isn't quite that long, but 90 minutes is a safe planning time.
WIC does require some paperwork. Our staff will fill out the forms, but you do need to bring some things with you
1) The PERSON being certified must come to the appointment. If that person is your infant or child, they need to come.
2) You will need to bring proof of income, residency and income with you. There are lots of documents you can use for this purpose. Check this list to make sure you have what you need: DOCUMENTS TO BRING TO YOUR WIC APPOINTMENT
If you are not sure what to bring, please call our wic office and we can help!
