| Who qualifies for WIC? WIC is for Women (who are pregnant or breastfeeding), Infants, and Children (under age 5)
You can be pregnant with your first child. You can have a job. You can be single or married. You can be living with your parents. You can be unemployed. You can be a student. You can be a father with a child under the age of five. You can be a foster parent with a child under the age of five.
Many working families qualify!
Your unborn baby(ies) are counted as members of your household. For example, a Dad and Mom who is pregnant with twins would have a household size of 4.
ALSO: military families DO NOT need to count BAH, Save Pay or FHS when calculating their income.
